Your Vivid Score
A measurable baseline
Ten dimensions — clarity, stability, control, motion, space, colour, sound, touch, emotion and perspective — scored from how your imagery actually behaves.
What it is
Visualization training is the deliberate practice of generating, holding and manipulating mental imagery — the same way strength training loads a muscle with progressively harder work. Most advice stops at “picture it clearly”, which gives you nothing to practise and no way to tell whether anything improved. ManiqMind replaces that with short, structured reps, behaviourally anchored self-ratings and a score that moves.
People vary enormously in how vividly they can picture things. Some see detailed, stable scenes; others experience little or no visual imagery at all (aphantasia). That is why every exercise here is broken into micro-instructions — recall a colour, place the object, hold it for ten seconds, rotate it — and why non-visual routes through the curriculum exist for people who think in words, feelings or spatial sense.
Clarity
How much detail an image carries before it fades.
Stability
How long an image stays put without slipping.
Control
Whether you can change an image on command.
Motion
Imagery that moves smoothly rather than jumping.
Spatial detail
Depth, scale and where things sit relative to each other.
Colour fidelity
Accurate, saturated colour instead of grey outlines.
Auditory imagery
Hearing voices, tone and texture in the mind.
Tactile & sensory
Touch, temperature and weight inside a scene.
Emotional immersion
How strongly a scene is actually felt.
First-person perspective
Being inside the scene, not watching it.
The Vivid Test takes about four minutes and combines these ten dimensions into a single baseline score. Retest later and each dimension is tracked separately, so you can see which skill is your current bottleneck and train that one next. The score is a training metric, not a clinical or diagnostic measure.
The curriculum
See
Reproduce imagery
Hold
Maintain imagery
Control
Manipulate mental imagery
Build
Construct scenes
Embody
Live the scene
Daily practice
Flash & Hold
Hold a single image steady for longer each week.
Colour Shift
Recolour an object on command without losing it.
Object Rotation
Turn imagery in space, not just recall it.
Sensory Stack
Layer sound, touch and temperature into a scene.
Every rep is broken into micro-instructions and rated with behavioural anchors, so progress is trained and measured rather than guessed.
Turn a goal into one first-person Scene of Fulfilment and rehearse it deliberately. Mental rehearsal is a training method — not a promise of outcomes.
Narrated journeys with your choice of guide, guidance level and soundscape — plus your own scenes read back to you.
Score over time, skill-by-skill movement, streaks and the bottleneck to train next.
